Pedal Car Project

Get ready to design, build and race your very own pedal car! This exciting hands-on project gives young people the opportunity to work together to create two real racing pedal cars from scratch, developing practical skills, creativity and confidence along the way.

Open to young people aged 13–17 living in Sutton, the project is perfect for anyone interested in design, engineering, mechanics, building or simply trying something new. No previous experience is needed—just curiosity, enthusiasm and a willingness to work as part of a team.

Once the cars are built, participants will have the chance to race them at local and national events, putting their designs and teamwork to the test.
