We’re excited to announce that our new Pedal Car Project is coming soon at Youth Ignite!
This exciting hands-on project will give young people the opportunity to design, build and develop their own pedal car while learning practical skills along the way.The project is open to young people aged 14–17 years old and will run during Youth Ignite on Mondays, 4:30pm–6:30pm at Hill House Community Centre.
Participants will have the chance to:
- Learn practical mechanics and engineering skills
- Develop problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Get creative with design and building
- Work towards completing an exciting group project
- Build confidence and learn new skillsThe Pedal Car
Project also links with our Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) programme, helping young people develop skills, take on challenges and gain valuable experience that supports their personal development.
The project is free to attend.
Please note that there may be small costs associated with optional trips, activities or uniform.
